I saw a rainbow today

Just as it began

To fade away

Into the grey clouds

Its colors

Painted the sky

Adding that glimpse

Of hope that

I had been waiting for

And as the sun set

Below the mountains

After the storm

The sky

Turned every shade of orange and red

Reminding me

There is always hope
