Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser Review

Lately, I’ve been looking for a new cleanser, so I decided to give Murad’s Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser a go, and it’s slotted seamlessly into my skincare routine.

I hadn’t used prebiotic products before, but the cruelty-free formula from Murad has worked wonders. I’ve been using it morning and night for a few weeks now and have already noticed visible improvements.

The cleanser is gentle, unscented and has a silky gel-to-oil consistency, leaving skin clean and refreshed.

Unlike alternatives, the prebiotic formula contains hemisqualane, cyclic peptide and prebiotic powder, which all work together to balance your skin’s microbiome.

Suitable for sensitive skin, the cleanser nourishes and ensures skin appears healthy and moisturised. The 4-in-1 formula melts away dirt and makeup while emollients moisturise, leaving your skin hydrated and foundation free.

Of course, there’s no shame in a makeup wipe. But using a cleanser to remove makeup, especially after a long day of work and wear, is worth the extra effort. Making the transition undoubtedly improves your skin in the long run.

On top of the formula, the dark, purply-pink packaging looks pretty and brightens up your bathroom cabinet.

The soap-like dispenser makes it easy to use sparingly, and only a tiny amount of product is needed to look after your skin as the nights grow colder and party season approaches.

Winter is the perfect time to rethink your skincare, especially if you’re on the dry side. Personally, I lean towards combination skin and have struggled with dryness and acne forever. The cleanser is suitable for all skin types, but, in my experience, it’s been hydrating while clearing up any hormonal breakouts.

With continued use, the initial purging and adjustment process that seems to come hand-in-hand with switching up your skincare didn’t take long to settle down. I have noticed a clear difference in my skin since using the product.

Ultimately, as a luxury cleanser, this one does what it says on the tin.

Depending on your budget, it’s on the pricier side (at £38), but it’s a reliable, quality product to invest in. And if you’re in the market for a new cleanser, it’s one worth trying.
