Learning To Grieve For Yourself
by Hatty Allen ❀
What is grief? This question is one I have returned to countless times over the past two years. Throughout my childhood grief was explained as a feeling or emotion you experience at the death of someone close to you. And that was all it was. I have always felt very lucky I didn’t experience very much grief throughout my adolescence and only around two years ago did I realise that I was coasting through life with very little understanding as to what this emotion and sensation actually was.

Sad To Be Beautiful
by Caitlin Mussen ❀
In a society that glamorises mental illness,
it’s hard for us to tell what's real or not.
People envy eating disorders and their 'brilliance' -

but it's not 'in' to purge every meal
skinny won't make you lots of friends,
and this is not a beautiful ordeal.

But how have I, and so many others in the same situation, managed to do it? I think the answer is love. This year I fell in love with my family.
Finding Comfort in Creativity
by Safiyyah Hanif ❀
Creativity is diving deep into the depths of your imagination
the process of turning your thoughts into art and innovation
you create patterns and stories throughout the days, months and years
eventually exploding into books, films and the music that floods your ears.
In your mind there is a storm that brews often, a chaos of deadlines and notifications
Stop Comparing Yourself To Others
by Samantha Webb ❀
We live in a social media driven world. A world where it’s almost impossible to meet someone who doesn’t have an Instagram account. TikTok is growing every single day, Twitter is constantly basking in feuds between strangers and don’t even get me started on Snapchat!
