Originally founded in 2015 by Fashion Design graduate Danielle, Hissyfit is an insanely popular brand on TikTok that provides original, unique and exclusive items. On their website, Danielle said that, “shopping should be fun and 100% guilt free- that’s Hissyfit” and because of this, the brand is fully transparent about how their products are made and what materials they use. The brand tries to be as sustainable as they can be, therefore their clothes are made from sustainably sourced dead-stock fabrics and they have a very low carbon footprint. From this, the brand as a whole is completely trendy and fitting to modern styles; offering both casual everyday wear and more dressed up pieces. Currently, they have a range of Christmas dresses which are reworked, deadstock vintage items that are extremely festive and make for perfect party or rave wear. They’ve also recently released a range of halter dresses which are perfect for work Christmas parties or nights out with their sparkly designs and wintery colours. Because of this, in 2017 she decided to create a brand that aims to be inclusive and representative of those who feel voiceless. Good Girl Gang is constantly changing and evolving with Nawel’s own personal growth, meaning that the products are always fitting to current movements and trends. Created using screen-printing, Good Girl Gang’s products are affordable and unique, making the perfect gift for someone who loves clothes with a message. As a brand, they aim to become more sustainable each year, with every piece being handmade by them. Although the products available are more expensive than others on this list, there are also options available for smaller budgets. They offer crochet accessories such as clips and earrings which make a really great gift for a friend or a stocking filler.
